Product Description:
It is recommended that the PALL filter element be installed on the suction port of the pump. This is typically a surface type oil filter that effectively removes larger impurities and particles to protect the hydraulic pump. The filtering capacity of the oil filter should be more than twice the pump flow rate with a pressure loss of less than 0.02 MPa.
On the outlet oil circuit of the pump, the PALL filter element should be installed to filter out pollutants that may enter components such as valves. The filtration accuracy should be 10-15 μm, and it should be able to withstand the working and impact pressure on the oil circuit with a pressure drop of less than 0.35 MPa. A safety valve should also be installed to prevent oil filter blockage.
The PALL filter element can also be installed on the system's return oil line as an indirect filter. In this installation, a back pressure valve is usually installed in parallel with the filter. When the filter becomes clogged and reaches a certain pressure value, the back pressure valve opens.
Installation of the PALL filter element on the system branch oil circuit is also necessary.
For large hydraulic systems, a dedicated hydraulic pump and oil filter can be equipped to form an independent filtration circuit.
